The Steven Campbell Trust is delighted to be collaborating with the artist Bruce McLean in a master class in Edinburgh.
Professor McLean, currently engaged in projects at an international level in Berlin at the Tanya Leighton Gallery and at the Henry Moore Institute Leeds, will work with students and recent graduates on the presentation of a unique performance. The workshop, reflecting the shared interest in performance in work by both McLean and Campbell, will focus on the process of developing and recording the creative process culminating in a live performance and an exhibition of work in progress.
‘Poised Murder’ by Steven Campbell and McLean’s own Nice-Style Pose Band works will be the context to the workshop.
There are places for up to 10 students or recent graduates based in Edinburgh to participate free of charge. Please submit a short proposal to Dr Neil Mulholland by Mon 7 March (half a side of A4) outlining how participating in this master class will be of benefit to your practice.

Materials will be supplied by the Trust.
